Transformative Education

The Global Aliya Indonesia Foundation promotes excellence in education by developing curricular enrichment with skills necessary for leading a life of consequence. Successful education prepares students to become engaged citizens, to have a meaningful worldview, and to have skills for dealing with diversity and world cultures. The Global Aliya Indonesia Foundation will develop a new curricular development that will train teachers and professors to be more prepared to teach students to live in pluralistic and interconnected societies.  Currently, we are running a Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten level of education and afterschool programs such as English, Math and Reading.

Scholarship Fund

As a pilot project, “Adopt a Student” this year is dedicated to Indonesia. Each donor would contribute a donation in the amount of $15 a month per one adopted student toward the Indonesian students’ education for at least one full year.  Through such a donation, the Indonesian students should be able to afford their academic expenses at their schools either fully or partially. Donors are encouraged to communicate with the recipients for mentorship and friendship.  Both the donors and the adopted students will hopefully develop a lasting friendship with conscience for social justice.
